Manningtree 09 & 16 January 2025

Two trips to Manningtree in quick succession: one glorious sunny winter's morning with the U3A and again a week later on a dull, grey morning with the AYWMC East Anglia Group. This was a new venue for me, so an interesting find. We walked from to top end of Manningtree down the river bank to Mistley and back again. The swans are extraordinarily tame and come up close and personal - I was wary, but strangely unnerved by these huge creatures.
